Garlic Free Falafel Mix Ingredients:
kibbled fava beans, spices, baking powder, parsley, coriander, salt
How to make:
STEP 1
Combine Arabian Bites falafel mix with 1 cup of hot water in a bowl.
Mix well and leave to set for 15 minutes
STEP 2
Form into patties, balls, burgers or fingers.
For traditional patties take 1 tbspn (approximately 30g), roll into a ball and flatten to form patties.
You can expect 16 x 30g patties or 4 x burgers.
STEP 3
TO FRY
Pre-heat 1-2 cm of good quality oil in a frying pan or deep fry to medium heat (150-1600C)
Fry falafel until crispy and golden brown
Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot
TO BAKE
Pre-heat oven to 1800C
Lightly brush formed falafel with good quality oil and place on a baking tray
Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, turning once
