This date milkshake recipe is super easy to make using the date syrup from Exotic Bazaar. With hints of caramel-vanilla, date shakes make for a great guilt free treat that’s low in refined sugar. Not only does this shake taste good, dates are soluble fiber, making this a perfect option to aid in digestion.

You will need to make date milkshake:
- 2 cups of oats
- 1/2 cup of pure date syrup from Exotic Bazaar.
- 3 tsps of honey. We’d recommend using local honey from Hive & Harvest.
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. For this recipe, we recommend using a sugar free ice cream. Denana vanilla ice-cream is the recommended option.
- 2 glasses of milk (substitute based on dietary intake).
- 1/4 cup of walnuts from Exotic Bazaar.
- 2 x frozen bananas
- 1/2 cup of frozen apples
- ice-cubes
Making the date milkshake:
Blend the frozen bananas, date syrup, milk, ice-cream, frozen apples and oats in a mixer.
You can add in the ice cubes whilst blending (optional)
Add to a serving glass. Garnish with honey and walnuts.
